At Canadian Water Conditioning Inc., we are proud to work with a variety of business owners in the community, helping provide high-quality water treatment systems to a wide range of industries.
In this post, we would like to highlight Dennis Hallman, a local Tim Hortons franchise owner in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Our team has been working with Dennis for close to twenty years, providing top quality care and servicing for his businesses.
Dennis has been a strong leader and active community member in Kitchener-Waterloo for a number of years, setting a positive example for other business owners. We are thrilled to be able to share his story.
Becoming a Tim Hortons Franchisee
Born and raised in the Kitchener area, Dennis Hallman got involved with local business when he started working with Tim Hortons in the early 80s. At the time, a close friend of Dennis’ recommended him to a franchisee that needed help managing growth. Dennis stepped in and was able to help the business owner find the success that was missing.
Over the course of a few years, Dennis learned the Tim Hortons system so well that he decided to purchase his own store, as the next step in his career. Dennis and his business partner applied for their first location in the late 80s in Waterloo.
Their store was located at the intersection of Northfield and Weber and it was the second Tim Hortons to be built in Waterloo. By 1997, Dennis and his partner had purchased four more stores across Kitchener-Waterloo, managing five stores in total.
Over time, Dennis has scaled back his operation. Today, he owns two Tim Hortons locations independently, both in the Kitchener area. He is proud to have been a part of the company’s growth in the Waterloo Region.
Community Involvement
Through Tim Hortons, Dennis became involved with a number of community initiatives like the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation and other local charities. These sponsorships reflected Dennis’ own values and his passion for community.
Dennis was an active sponsor of Timbits teams in soccer, hockey, and baseball throughout his career. He also sponsored community swims in the summer and community skating in the winter, in addition to other activities.
Working with Canadian Water Conditioning Inc.
Dennis started working with the Canadian Water Conditioning team in the late 90s.
He was initially connected with our team through his children, but he decided to switch to Canadian Water Conditioning as a result of the trust that was built early in his relationship with us.
When we asked him what established this trust, he explained it came from sharing the same set of core values around family, business, and life.
“The team at Canadian Water Conditioning are professional, very honest, and very fair,” he explained. “They look after everything I need in a timely manner. I never need to worry about anything. If I have any issues, I just give them a call. I would highly recommend them to other business owners.”
Dennis also stressed the importance of their services in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, in particular. “In our area, hard water is very prevalent,” he said. “Using Canadian Water Conditioning has helped me to proactively manage how water impacts our equipment.”
We are proud to help Dennis protect the equipment at his Tim Hortons locations with high quality water treatment, and we look forward to working with him in the future.
